Eithernet Cables

The purpose of a/an ethernet cable is to connect two network devices through ethernet.
The materials needed to make an ethernet cable are the length of network cable that you might require, (2) RJ45 jacks, and cable pliers/cutters.
To make an ethernet cable you first cut the wire to your desired length, strip the blue tubing without cutting the wires inside, then you untwist the colored wires, place the colors in the correct order;
light orange, dark orange, light green, dark blue, light blue, dark green, light brown, dark brown. Then you cut the wires to make them all even lengths, hold the clamp down with pliers, and then repeat steps 2-9 on the other side of the cable and then test the length of cable for internet connection to see if the wires are touching the correct jack slots.
You test by putting both jacks into the connection tester and turn it on.
-If green lights appear, you have been successful, otherwise you may need to start over and make sure you find where you went wrong.
When i put my eithernet cable together it wasnt that hard seeing that its not hard to work with tools that are as self-explanatory as the eitherenet connector tool was. i figured i would atleast mess up once but i took my time and got it right the first time.
