Cyber Crime


Jodie Hoang, 34 and a resident of Houston plead guilty for a count of information computer fraud. As an accounting clerk she was to process funds recieved by Standard Mortgage Corporation at loan closings. She changed the codes for deposit payments made by customers and the created checks payable to herself and her credit card providers from funds she fraudulentlychenged the accounting codes for.

she faces imprisonment for up to five years and a supervised release term after imprisonmenmt for up to three years.
